No season is “the right time” to visit Yosemite. In the spring, the falls are full, in winter the crown of snow surrounds the valley rim, and in the fall the traffic is light and the parking is plentiful.

It took me 38 years and five hours to get to Yosemite for my first visit, but I’m determined not to wait another 38 years to go back. As a family vacation destination, Yosemite rocks!
